It’s 10pm on a Thursday in Brooklyn, and the goal remains the same – Create. Brulant was meant to be a brand that fully encompasses the NYC experience. Naturally, it started from parties, but I’ve always wanted it to mature and scale beyond that. So, in the spirit of momentum, here’s a quick post about clothing.

Rather than drop some wack designs, I decided I would curate a list of 10 items I would buy if I went shopping right now. This is very light hearted, but maybe someone finds this helpful. I love clothing and shopping, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I find shopping to be overwhelming. I often just wish someone could point out the latest trends and pick items that would look good on me.

1 – Black Vest From COS – As we transition from street wear, we’ll see a steady introduction of more formal pieces. Getting an good vest in the wardrobe is an easy way to switch it up. Make sure you find a couple shirts that match well.

2 – Tapered and Pleated Tan Pants From COS

3 – Linen Suit from Mango – Suitable for classier occasions. I’ve got like 10 weddings, so I’d be down to rip one of these.

4 – Baggy Linen Suit from Zara – I think we are going to see this out at dinners all year. If done right, super versatile and bold.

5 – Vintage Casio – Cheap, but at least gives a similar silhouette to a Santos… or Apple Watch. Depends how superficial your friends are.

6 – Button Down Polo from COS – Knitted shirts have been in for a few years, so I expect so see more variations like this. Lean toward less popular styles, such as this one keep your style unique.

7 – Thick knitted polo from COS – Wear it to work, a date or to bed.

8 – Fleece Polo Sweatshirt from Represent. Shape and style are great. I’d be careful with your sizing, but this would be an awesome staple piece.

9 – Represent Shoes – These look tight with a few looks. A good alternative to Jordan Low or Converse. They’re not perfect, but I’d try it.

10 – Sunglasses from CHIMI. Personally, I lose all of my cool glasses, so 165 is pushing it. But, maybe I’ll buy it in the middle of the night.
